Power and Energy
This data includes instantaneous signal data from simulated subsynchronous oscillations and from actual SSO events.
The simulation system for data 1 is that a wind turbine with Doubly-fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is connected to a parallel compensator and then through a weak transmission line to the power grid, the sub-synchronous resonance occurs between the DFIG and the parallel compensator when the wind speed drops. This kind of SSO only contains the sub-synchronous oscillation component;

The dataset is generated by performing different MiTM attacks in the synthetic electric grid in RESLab testbed at Texas A&M University, US. The testbed primarily consists of a dynamic power system simulator (Powerworld Dynamic Studio), network emulator (CORE), Snort IDS, open DNP3 master and Elasticsearch's Packetbeat index. There are raw and processed files that can be used by security enthusiasts to develop new features and also to train IDS using our feature space respectively.

In order to see and interact with the case of study open the case_of_study.html file with an internet browser, it should work in all browser but we tested in Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Once the file is open, we will see something like the attached figure. In the next steps, the different variables available and the way of interacting with then will be described.

Conventionally, state estimation is run on reduced bus-branch (BB) network models. On the other hand, when detailed node-breaker (NB) models are used, no network reduction is necessary. This allows joint estimation of system states and network topology. For testing SE applications using NB models, an expanded version of the IEEE 300-bus system is created. The following changes are made to the original BB model to generate the NB model:

The datasets consist of operational data and detailed information of three inverter transformers in a 3.275 MW PV plant in the outskirt of Brisbane, Australia. The data includes load current, top-oil temperature, moisture in top oil, ambient temperature, solar irradiance and individual current harmonics (up to 31st order). The time interval of the data is either 1 minute or 3 seconds (dependent on the data type). The data can be used to study the ageing of inverter transformers in this PV plant.
