The dataset includes a collection of news concerning one of the most divisive public debates supported on Italian media: the constitutional referendum (held on December 4th, 2016) . The data cover a total of four months and a half, from July 31st, 2016 to December 12th, 2016, a week after the date of the referendum, and come from either Facebook. We identify pubblic Twitter acounts of Italian official newspapers, following the exhaustive list provided by ADS, that is an association for the verification of newspaper circulation in Italy.

This study deals with derivation of an exact expressions for the current distribution and the input impedance of a circular loop antenna over a lossy half-space. the analysis is based on the image method, the direct integration of the vector potential, and the spherical function expansion. the results for the current distribution of this study are in very good agreement with those corresponding results available in the literature, which checks the correctness of formulations of the study.

Making use of a specifically designed SW tool, the authors here presents the results of an activity for the evaluation of energy consumption of buses for urban applications. Both conventional and innovative transport means are considered to obtain interesting comparative conclusions. The SW tool simulates the dynamical behaviour of the vehicles on really measured paths making it possible to evaluate their energetic performances on a Tank to Wheel (TTW) basis. Those data, on such a wide and comparable range were still unavailable in literature.

Advances in Wireless Sensor Network Technology (WSN) have provided the availability of small and low-cost sensor with capability of sensing various types of physical and environmental conditions, data processing and wireless communication. In WSN, the sensor nodes have a limited transmission range, and their processing and storage capabilities as well as their energy resources are limited. Triple Umpiring System (TUS) has already been proved its better performance on Wireless Sensor Networks. Clustering technique provides an effective way to prolong the lifetime of WSN.

In tropical/subtropical regions, the favorable climate associated with the use of agricultural technologies, such as no-tillage, minimum cultivation, irrigation, early varieties, desiccants, flowering inducing and crop rotation, makes agriculture highly dynamic. In this paper, we present the Campo Verde agricultural database. The purpose of creating and sharing these data is to foster advancement of remote sensing technology in areas of tropical agriculture, primarily the development and testing of methods for crop recognition and agricultural mapping.

The work starts with a short overview of grid requirements for photovoltaic (PV) systems and control structures of grid-connected PV power systems. Advanced control strategies for PV power systems are presented next, to enhance the integration of this technology. The aim of this work is to investigate the response of the three-phase PV systems during symmetrical and asymmetrical grid faults.

This work presents a novel Anti-Islanding (AI) protection of Photovoltaic (PV) Systems based on monitoring the dc-link voltage of the PV inverter. A PV System equipped with AI protection like frequency relays, a rate of change of frequency (ROCOF) relay, and respectively the proposed dc-link voltage relay is simulated under the conditions of islanding and the detection time for all these AI techniques are compared. The study shows under which conditions our proposed dc-link voltage AI relay is the most efficient.

This work presents a Matlab/Simulink study on anti-islanding detection algorithms for a 100kW Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (PV) Array. The main focus is on the islanding phenomenon that occurs at the Point of Common Coupling (PCC) between Grid-Connected PV System and the rest of the electric power system (EPS) during various grid fault conditions. The Grid-Connected PV System is simulated under the conditions of islanding, and anti-islanding (AI) relay reaction times are measured through the simulation.

This work presents the performance evaluation of incremental conductance maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems under rapidly changing irradiation condition. The simulation model, carried out in Matlab and Simulink, includes the PV solar panel, the dc/dc buck converter and the MPPT controller. This model provides a good evaluation of performance of MPPT control for PV systems.

Electronic Health Records and clinical longitudinal data have been visualized in a wide range of applications to assist the understanding of the status and evolution of patients. Few studies have objectively assessed these applications. We utilized the insights-based method to objectively assess the effectiveness of an application that visualizes longitudinal data from the Australian national electronic health record. Five professional psychiatrists took part in the assessment study.

The class of registration methods proposed in the framework of Stokes Large Deformation
Diffeomorphic Metric Mapping is a particularly interesting family of physically
meaningful diffeomorphic registration methods.
Stokes-LDDMM methods are formulated as a conditioned variational problem,
where the different physical models are imposed using the associated partial differential equations
as hard constraints.
The most significant limitation of Stokes-LDDMM framework is its huge computational complexity.

This dataset contains citation dynamics of individual papers published in several journals including ACM, Cell, IEEE, Nature, Science, NEJM, PNAS, Physical Review (PR), PRL. Each txt file contains citation dynamics (up to 2014) of papers published in a particular journal in a particular year. For example, ieee1985.txt contains citation dynamics of papers published in IEEE in 1985. Note that the citation counts of year 2014 are incomplete as this dataset was collected in summer 2014.

Synthetic Aperture Radar is a monitoring solution which is especially well fitted to maritime surveillance. The large swath widths, time-independent, weather resistant observations can be very useful for the detection of ships typically invisible to other forms of monitoring. A dataset which contains 43 Sentinel-1 Extended Wide Swath images and 3 RADARSAT-2 ScanSAR Narrow images between the 6th October 2014 to the 22 July 2015 is described and presented here.

The distributed generation, along with the deregulation of the Smart Grid, have created a great concern on Power Quality (PQ), as it has a direct impact on utilities and customers, as well as effects on the sinusoidal signal of the power line. The a priori unknown features of the distributed energy resources (DER) introduce non-linear behaviours in loads associated to a variety of PQ disturbances.

The aim of the database consists of providing the researchers with a collection of power quality real-life impulsive events to test experiments and measurement instruments. The dataset provides signals recordings from the power network of the University of Cádiz during the last five years (electrical network according to the UNE-EN-50160: 2011).

The dataset offers a diversity of real impulsive events, which are specifically acquired in order to test Power Quality Instruments according to the UNE-IEC 61000-4-11: 2005.

Advances in optical neuroimaging techniques now allow neural activity to be recorded with cellular resolution in awake and behaving animals.  Brain motion in these recordings pose a unique challenge. The location of individual neurons must  be tracked in 3D over time to accurately extract single neuron activity traces. Recordings from small invertebrates like C. elegans are especially challenging because they undergo very large brain motion and deformation during animal movement.
