propagation coefficient has many relations for cable. It is clear that there is more “rough jitter” in the spectrum of the last 500MHz than that of the first 500MHz. This is due to the additional influence produced on the spectrum by the extra capacitance introduced from the cable joint as the result of connection, which leads to distortion of the spectrum to some extent.
This data is a subset of the results of direct numerical simulations of a turbulent upward-directed flow of a liquid metal in a vertical channel.
In this project one model the photovoltaic and wind power sources in order to analyze how to optimally integrate them in the electrical power systems. Integration requirements like transient regimes associated with fault occurrence, identification of the electrical power systems responsible for disturbances, and optimization of the integration are focus points of the research.
TB (Tuberculosis) is a contagious disease which is caused by a bacterium named Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Screening is done to confirm the presence of TB using different screening techniques available i.e. Chest X-ray, Microscopy, Gene Xpert and Culture etc. Medical image processing is a rapidly growing field of image processing that is used to automate different medical procedures. In this research we have designed two automated systems for the screening of TB patients. A sample of 50 images for microscopy slides and chest X-ray radiographs were taken.

A novel surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrate based on integrated circuit (IC) process was designed, using photolithography, etching and other processes on the silicon wafer processing. Its surface morphology and Raman activity were characterized and tested. The relationship between the substrate’s photolithographic pattern and its Raman activity, stability and reproducibility has been analyzed and verified.
Our defect dataset, comes from PROMISErepository. This data refers to open-source Java systems such as ant, camel, ivy, jedit, log4j, lucene, poi, synapse, velocity and xerces. We selected these datasets since they have at least three consecutive releases (where release i was built before release i+1). This will allow us to build defect predictors based on the past data and then predict (test) defects on future version projects, which will be a more practical scenario.

This cell images dataset is collected using an ultrafast imaging system known as asymmetric-detection time-stretch optical microscopy (ATOM) for training and evaluation. This novel imaging approach can achieve label-free and high-contrast flow imaging with good cellular resolution images at a very high speed. Each acquired image belongs to one of the four classes: THP1, MCF7, MB231 and PBMC.
The investigation of the performance of different Positron Emission Tomography (PET) reconstruction and motion compensation methods requires an accurate and realistic representation of the anatomy and motion trajectories as observed in real subjects during acquisitions. The generation of well- controlled clinical datasets is difficult due to the many different clinical protocols, scanner specifications, patient sizes and physiological variations. Alternatively, computational phantoms can be used to generate large datasets for different disease states, providing a ground truth.
An integration process for the fabrication of thin film bulk acoustic wave resonator (FBAR) above the CMOS IC is proposed. An adhesive-bonding-based film transfer technique is utilized to transfer high resistivity Si film onto a CMOS chip. Benzocyclobutene (BCB) is used as an adhesive film. It is a heat resistive polymer and processes of temperature up to 300 C are allowed on it. The CMOS is protected by BCB and thus is not damaged by plasma and chemical treatments.

The geomagnetic disturbances create large-scale geo-magnetically induced currents (GICs) in long conductors at the Earth's surface. The GIC might cause hazard to many infrastructures, out of which, the electrical transmission lines located at the vicinity of ocean is the prime example. The unique physics behind this phenomena lies at the sharp contrast in the electrical conductivity between ocean and continent.
The geomagnetic disturbances caused during the solar storms create large-scale geo-magnetically induced currents (GICs) in long conductors at the Earth's surface. The GIC might cause hazard to the electrical transmission lines located at the vicinity of ocean. The unique physics behind this phenomena lies at the sharp contrast in the electrical conductivity between ocean and continent. Though analytical methods were used previously to study electromagnetic fields at ocean-continent boundaries, those were only limited for highly simplified geometries and sinusoidal sources.

The video demonstrates an accurate, low-latency body tracking approach for VR-based applications using Vive Trackers. Using a HTC Vive headset and Vive Trackers, an immersive VR experience, by animating the motions of the avatar as smoothly, rapidly and as accurately as possible, has been created. The user can see her from the first-person view.

An energy harvester for a smart contact lens that monitors the glucose level of a user is developed and demonstrated. The energy harvester captures a smartphone’s 2G cellular emission, and rectifies it into DC power to operate on-lens microelectronics for glucose detection and wireless data transmission. The energy harvester can reach a maximum Ra- dio Frequency (RF) to Direct Current (DC) power conversion efficiency of 47%. An electrically realistic human eye model is designed and fabricated using 3D printing technologies to assist in various measurements of the proposed energy harvester.
The following dataset consists of utterances, recorded using 24 volunteers raised in the Province of Manitoba, Canada. To provide a repeatable set of test words that would cover all of the phonemes, the Edinburg Machine Readable Phonetic Alphabet (MRPA) [KiGr08], consisting of 44 words is used. Each recording consists of one word uttered by the volunteer and recorded in one continuous session.
