Smart Grid

This dataset was curated for outage management in electricity networks. It is based on a modification of the IEEE 24 bus reliability test system network. The modified network comprises 10 generators, 50 buses, and 40 load zones; supplying 270,000 customers. For illustrative purposes, the network is assumed to span the region between longitudes 13.2989°W and 12.9133°W and latitudes 8.1712°N and 8.4998°N. This region happens to be located in Western Sierra Leone and covers an area of approximately 681 square kilometres.

This repo contains data and code that has been used for the publication ” Methodology for the Techno-economic Assessment of Medium-Voltage Photovoltaic Prosumers Under Net-Metering Policy” submitted @ IEEE Access. (The full reference should be added in close future.)
This work is an extension of the paper “Viability Assessment of PV Systems in University Campuses Under the Net-Metering Policy” that has been presented in the 2020 55th International Universities Power Engineering Conference (UPEC).

This data includes instantaneous signal data from simulated subsynchronous oscillations and from actual SSO events.
The simulation system for data 1 is that a wind turbine with Doubly-fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is connected to a parallel compensator and then through a weak transmission line to the power grid, the sub-synchronous resonance occurs between the DFIG and the parallel compensator when the wind speed drops. This kind of SSO only contains the sub-synchronous oscillation component;

The ZIP file Circulation_inhibition includes four items:
1. simulation 1: xianluzuk_bili1, which is the parallel connection of two inverters, the line impedance is proportional simulation.
2. simulation 2: xianluzuk_buchengbili2,which is the parallel connection of two inverters, the line impedance is not proportional simulation.
3.simulation 3: xianluk_buchengbili_xunizukang3, which is the parallel connection of two inverters, the line impedance is not proportional,and virtual impedance is added.

Multiwinding-Transfomer-based (MTB) DC-DC converter did emerge in the last 25 years as an interesting possibility to connect several energy systems and/or to offer higher power density because of the reduction of transformer core material and reduction of power converter stages. MTB DC-DC converters can be considered as an interesting compromise between non-modular and a modular DC-DC converter since they are themselves modular in the construction.
