Researchers attempted to measure alertness level from various cues like EEG, EOG, Video-based eye movement analysis, etc. Among these, video-based eyelid and iris motion tracking gained much attention in recent years. However, most of these implementations are tested on video data of subjects without spectacles. These videos do not pose a challenge for eye detection and tracking.

To validate the methods, we conducted experiments in Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk), and then we showed that the methods have a significant meaning based on statistical tests.

New concept high quality high performance hearing aid
A typical hearing aid can't be distinguished by mixing sounds in noisy places or in a multi-person voice environment.
This is due to the limited performance of the amplifier inside the hearing aid. This may be due to the lack of linearity of the amplifier, or because of transistor-specific characteristics.
By applying high-quality amplifier technology to these hearing aids, several sounds can be separated and listened well.
