Moving away from plain-text DNS communications,
users now have the option of using encrypted DNS protocols
for domain name resolutions. DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) employs
QUIC—the latest transport protocol—for encrypted communi-
cations between users and their recursive DNS servers. QUIC is
also poised to become the foundation of our daily web browsing
experience by replacing TCP with HTTPP/3, the latest version
of the HTTP protocol.

We define personal risk detection as the timely identification of when someone is in the midst of a dangerous situation, for example, a health crisis or a car accident, events that may jeopardize a person’s physical integrity. We work under the hypothesis that a risk-prone situation produces sudden and significant deviations in standard physiological and behavioural user patterns. These changes can be captured by a group of sensors, such as the accelerometer, gyroscope, and heart rate.

This study examined the effectiveness of a detection-based lie detection method that determines lying conditions based on facial autonomic reactions. This technique combines with two other lie detection techniques using a multi sensor fusion technique that is used in the polygraph test to differentiate moments of participants lying and telling the truth about a picked-up card from a deck of cards. Experiments were conducted with 19 participants sitting in front of a camera connected to Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) probes and ECG probes for a polygraph test.
