The dataset comprises image files of size 640 x 480 pixels for various grit sizes of Abrasive sheets. The data collected is raw. It can be used for analysis, which requires images for surface roughness. The dataset consists of a total of 8 different classes of surface coarseness. There are seven classes viz. P80, P120, P150, P220, P320, P400, P600 as per FEPA (Federation of European Producers of Abrasives) numbering system and one class viz. 60 as per ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards numbering system for abrasive sheets.

The paper presents the reliability study on field-aged photovoltaic connectors of different makes, collected from solar PV plants situated in different regions across India, each characterized by diverse climatic conditions having an operational life of two to ten years. A series of tests conforming to IEC 62852 incorporating C-AST is conducted on connectors encompassing both field-aged and control samples. Thereafter these samples and new field-aged samples underwent SEM for further analysis.

UTERUS: The uterus dataset (Huang et al. 2021) collected from the treatment device HIFU Pro2008 of Shenzhen ProHuiren Company. The dataset comprises 495 HIFU treatment ultrasound monitoring images of uterus, with 330 images randomly selected for training, 50 images for validating and 115 images for testing. The target region for treatment is the tumor region in the ultrasound image, as marked by professional doctors, and the image size is 448×544 pixels.

The data set has been prepared as 2 different versions. The data set was shared in two versions due to the fact that the researchers could easily reproduce the tests and hardware limitations. The first version (small_dataset) was prepared using a 10% sub-sample of all dataset. The other version (big_dataset) contains the entire data. In this study, the scenarios tested were run on the small_dataset. The most successful configuration that was selected as a result of the analysis on small_dataset was applied to big_dataset.
