A space elevator is a futuristic space transportation technology that enables low-cost and versatile payload transportation using climbers on a tether deployed from the geostationary orbit (GEO). In particular, a nonequatorial space elevator, which contains an anchor in a region with latitudes on the Earth, has recently attracted attention. It has several advantages, such as extending the construction range and avoiding collisions with spacecraft in the GEO. Prior research has focused on rigid-body or spring-mass models with low fidelity.

Physical unclonable functions (PUFs) are a strong and secure root source for identification and authentication applications. PUFs are especially valuable in FPGA-based systems because FPGA designs are vulnerable to intellectual property (IP) thefts and cloning, which PUFs protect against by generating random but device-specific bitstrings. Theoretically, the randomness of PUFs originates from variations in the manufacturing process. PUFs should be free of deterministic variation owing to the systematic bias among all chips of the same model.

Fall is a prominent issue due to its severe consequences both physically and mentally. Fall detection and prevention is a critical area of research because it can help elderly people to depend less on caregivers and allow them to live and move more independently. Using electrocardiograms (ECG) signals independently for fall detection and activity classification is a novel approach used in this paper.
