Power and Energy

A coupled inductor based buck-boost type single phase transformerless grid connected photo voltaic inverter which is having the ability to extract maximum power simultaneously from two serially connected subarrays is proposed in this paper. The series connection of the two subarrays, and the buck-boost nature of the inverter result in reduction of the number of modules which are connected in series in a subarray.

This is the data of the identified parameters of practical series-series (SS)-compensated wireless power transfer (WPT) systems based on the Genetic Algorithm, Adaptive Differential Evolution, and two-layer Adaptive Differential Evolution. These data strongly validate the accuracy of the Adaptive Differential Evolution to identify the parameters of a two-coil SS-compensated WPT and the two-layer Adaptive Differential Evolution to identify the parameters of a three-coil SS-compensated WPT system. The data can be adopted as a reference for future investigations.

This paper proposes a distributed fixed-time multi-agent control strategy for the frequency restoration and voltage regulation, state of charge balancing and proportional reactive power sharing between photovoltaic-battery systems distributed in a microgrid with communication time delays. First, the feedback linearisation method is applied to find the direct relationships between explicit states and control inputs.

The oil-paper insulation system in power transformers operates under the effects of high temperature and strong electromagnetic environment, and the insulation medium can slowly decompose into a number of small molecules. The decomposition gases dissolved in oil are H2, CH4, C2H6, C2H4, C2H2. When a fault occurs, the insulation breaks down more quickly and the decomposition products will be different according to the type and severity of the fault.

This dataset contains heavy-machinery data from the Brazilian industrial sector. The data was collected in a poultry feed factory located  in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Its process can be summarized to creating pellets of ration for poultry from corn or soybeans and added nutrients. The factory produces at fullscale over the entire year, thus it has well-behaved usage patterns at any time. It operates from Mondays through Fridays (and occasionally on Saturdays, in case production is below the monthly target) on a daily three-turn shift from 10:00 PM to 05:00 PM.

Simulation test data for the paper "Continuation Power Flow Model of Multi-area AC/DC Interconnected Systems

incorporating VSC-MTDC" are attached.

Model M1 refers to the  proposed CPF model. The nonlinear constraint equations of the directional trading active

power (DTAP)  derived from the bilateral power trading contracts (BPTC) are considered. The security control

behaviors for power allocation of tie-lines and the switch strategy of VSC controlling modes are also simulated

in this scheme.
