Malignant pleural effusions (MPEs) are a challenging public health problem, causing significant morbidity and often being the first presenting sign of cancer. Pleural fluid cytology is the most common method used to differentiate malignant from non-malignant effusions. However, its sensitivity reaches 50-70% and depends on the experience of the cytologist, the tumor load, and the amount of fluid tested. Therefore, diagnostic inaccuracy and a high incidence of false negatives may endanger patients with clinical mistreatment and mismanagement.

In robotic grasping and manipulation, force feedback is one of the most important factors. In the absence of force feedback, force control and compliant grasping is almost impossible. In this study a novel Vibrational Haptic feedback system is designed. The system gives individual digit awareness of a multipronged robotic gripper to the user. It also gives force level feedback from each fingertip and simultaneous multiple force level feedback, all through one wearable elastic “Vibrational Haptic Band (Vi-HaB)”.

PCA was then used in each group of variables to construct specific features for the CTT and GT. All extracted components are listed in the appendix.

Feature code is often scattered across a software system. Scattering is not necessarily bad if used with care, as witnessed by systems with highly scattered features that evolved successfully. Feature scattering, often realized with a pre-processor, circumvents limitations of programming languages and software architectures. Unfortunately, little is known about the principles governing scattering in large and long-living software systems.

This paper describes a set of 300 pseudo-random task graphs which can be used for evaluating Mobile Cloud, Fog and Edge computing systems. The pseudo-random task graphs are based upon graphs that have previously appeared in IEEE papers. The graphs are described in Matlab code, which is easy to read, edit and execute. Each task has an amount of computational work to perform, expressed in Mega-cycles per second. Each edge has an amount of data to transfer between tasks, expressed in Kilobits or Kilobytes of data.

In this paper, a novel silicon-on-insulator (SOI) lateral-double-diffused metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (LDMOSFET) is presented. Changing charge distribution leads to lower electric field crowding and increased breakdown voltage (VBR). For modifying charge distribution, a metal region (COLUMN) and an air layer inside the transistor are utilized. On the other the floating-body effect and impact ionization generate excess holes that are amplified by the parasitic bipolar junction transistor (BJT) in SOI-LDMOSFET that degrade the transistor performance.

Static analysis is increasingly used by companies and individual code developers to detect bugs and security vulnerabilities. As programs grow more complex, the analyses have to support new code concepts, frameworks and libraries. However, static-analysis code itself is also prone to bugs. While more complex analyses are written and used in production systems every day, the cost of debugging and fixing them also increases tremendously.
