Histopathology
Prostate cancer is a major global health challenge. In this study, we present an approach for the detection and grading of prostate cancer through the semantic segmentation of adenocarcinoma tissues, specifically focusing on distinguishing between Gleason patterns 3 and 4. Our method leverages deep learning techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and enhance patient treatment strategies. We developed a new dataset comprising 100 digitized whole-slide images of prostate needle core biopsy specimens, which are publicly available for research purposes.

Hyperspectral Image Dataset for Focus Analysis (HIDFA) is composed by different hyperspectral (HS) images, acquired varying the working distance from the objective lens to produce different blurriness levels (11). HS images were captured from commercial samples (Brunel microscopes Ltd, England, UK) which include rat histology, leaf structures, stems, blood smears, and freshwater algae. Captures were taken using 5×, 10× and 20× magnification lenses in a HS microscope previously employed for different histology applications.

Microscopic image based analysis plays an important role in histopathological computer based diagnostics. Identification of childhood medulloblastoma and its proper subtype from biopsy tissue specimen of childhood tumor is an integral part for prognosis. The dataset is of Childhood medulloblastoma (CMB) biopsy samples. The images are of 10x and 100x microscopic magnifications, uploaded in separate folders. The images consist of normal brain tissue cell samples and CMB cell samples of different WHO defined subtypes. An excel sheet is also uploaded for ease of data description.
