Abstract 

This data reflects the prevalence and adoption of smart devices. The experimental setup to generate the IDSIoT2024 dataset is based on an IoT network configuration consisting of seven smart devices, each contributing to a diverse representation of IoT devices. These include a smartwatch, smartphone, surveillance camera, smart vacuum and mop robot, laptop, smart TV, and smart light. Among these, the laptop serves a dual purpose within the network. Firstly, it is connected to persistently trace network traffic, automatically generating and saving log files for analysis. Secondly, the laptop is actively involved in deploying various network-based attacks as part of the experimental scenarios. This comprehensive IoT network configuration enables the evaluation of the proposed methodologies and detection mechanisms in a realistic and varied environment.

Instructions: 

This dataset has 12 differnt types. of sub categories. In CSV file the files converted directly from PCAP are available. For using the files directly the users can use CSV Preprocess. In the CSV Preprocess folder different types of attacks are there in different csv file. In the CSV Preprocess folder, UpdatedFinal CSV file can be used directly for intrusion detection system implementation for IoT networks using Machine Learning algorithm
