Short Bio:

Martin Pies is currently an assistant professor of Cybernetics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Technical University of Ostrava. His research is mainly focused on the application of control theory and wireless measurement systems and wireless sensors by using IoT technology. His research is focused on monitoring environmental quantities and geotechnical monitoring. His research is closely applied in the practice and also it correlates with his pedagogical activities. He is the author of more than 60 publications with over 300 citations and an H-index of 11. He also holds 3 Czech national patents.

This dataset contains measured data from five sensor modules designed for monitoring the oxygen concentration in the air in a hospital environment, especially in rooms where oxygen therapy can potentially occurs. This data is crucial from a safety point of view, as a higher oxygen concentration can increase the risk of fire development.
