Power and Energy

The dataset consists of results of 10 different tests conducted on 8 different types of battery cells. All batteries are designed in 18650, but they differ in manufacturer and composition. The measurements can be divided into three groups: constant load tests, WLTP tests at different temperatures and transient tests. Constant load tests are performed at 0.1C and 1C as a function of battery capacity, both during charging and discharging. During transient tests, a 360s load/charge is followed by a 60s relaxation.

This paper describes the design and practical application of a dual-stage H-Bridge (DSHBR) circuit to reduce the rectification losses and to minimise ripples in piezoelectric energy harvesting. The proposed DSHBR circuit integrates both AC-DC and DC-DC conversion processes using bidirectional switches and a step-up DC-DC converter, which applies to both positive and negative half cycles. One additional feature is that it does not require external power to turn on the bidirectional switches (Vth < 0.3 V).

The data provided here correspond to the TPWRS paper presenting a novel  filter design procedure to optimally split the Frequency Regulation (FR) signal between conventional and fast regulating Energy Storage System (ESS) assets, considering typical Communication Delays (CDs).  The filter is then integrated into a previously validated FR model of the Ontario Power System (OPS) including Battery and Flywheel ESSs, which is used to analyze the impact of these ESSs, CDs, and limited regulation capacity in the FR process in a real system.  The proposed methodology to split the

This dataset was curated for outage management in electricity networks. It is based on a modification of the IEEE 24 bus reliability test system network. The modified network comprises 10 generators, 50 buses, and 40 load zones; supplying 270,000 customers. For illustrative purposes, the network is assumed to span the region between longitudes 13.2989°W and 12.9133°W and latitudes 8.1712°N and 8.4998°N. This region happens to be located in Western Sierra Leone and covers an area of approximately 681 square kilometres.

The dataset comprises:

These data can describe the operatioal process of ultra-supercritical once-through boiler-turbine units in a wide load range. The data can be used for establishing a dynamic mathematical model or data-driven model, as well as reproducing the paper, entitled " A dynamic nonlinear model for a wide-load range operation of ultra-supercritical once-through boiler-turbine units" in Energy journal.
