Radio Frequency Fingerprint Identification

This dataset contains LoRa physical layer signals collected from 60 LoRa devices and six SDRs (PLUTO-SDR, USRP B200 mini, USRP B210, USRP N210, RTL-SDR). It is intended for use by researchers in the development of a federated RFFI system, whereby the signals collected from different receivers and locations can be employed for evaluation purposes.

This LTE_RFFI project sets up an LTE device radio frequency fingerprint identification system using deep learning techniques. The LTE uplink signals are collected from ten different LTE devices using a USRP N210 in different locations. The sampling rate of the USRP is 25 MHz. The received signal is resampled to 30.72 MHz in Matlab. Then, the signals are processed and saved in the MAT file form. More details about the datasets can be found in the README document.

Specific emitter identification (SEI)  is a promising authentication paradigm in physical layer security (PLS). Despite the significant success of existing SEI schemes, most of them assume that the distributions of the training dataset and the test dataset are consistent. However, in most practical scenarios, when the signal parameters change, the distribution of the samples will changes,  resulting in a significant performance degradation.

This project builds a length-versatile and noise-robust LoRa radio frequency fingerprint identification (RFFI) system. The LoRa signals are collected from 10 commercial-off-the-shelf LoRa devices, with the spreading factor (SF) set to 7, 8, 9, respectively. The packet preamble part and device labels are provided.
