Abstract
In the attached dataset, several continuous records of chirp-sequence FMCW radar bursts are presented. The data consist of the direct ADC output of an AWR1443BOOST radar board from Texas Instruments. In most of the measurements, the FMCW radar was interfered by a PMCW one operating in the same frequency band. Different bandwidths have been considered, as well as different phase codes for the interfering radar. All measurements were conducted inside an anechoic chamber, with some static items and two moving targets consisting of a flying drone and a walking pedestrian. The interference can be clearly seen in both the raw (amplitudes) and processed data (spectrograms, range-Doppler maps, etc.). The raw data can be used to test interference mitigation techniques for the relatively untreated PMCW-to-FMCW interference scenario.
Instructions:
The dataset itself consists in 8 .mat files, which can be directly loaded in the software MATLAB. All of these files contain the variable "radarData", with double precision and 4 dimensions. Respectively:
-Rx channel: 1 - 4.
-Sample number (fast time): 1 - nº samples/sweep.
-Sweep number (slow time): 1 - nº sweeps/frame.
-Frame number: 1 - nº frames/measurement.
To make full use of the dataset, please refer to the attached documentation, where the configuration of the different measurements can be found. Note that the total frames per measurement run varies, as the start and end of each acquisition was manually triggered by a person.
