Elizabeth Gomes is a Biomedical Engineer at Blumio, Inc. She received her B.S. in bioengineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2018 and her M.Eng. in mechanical engineering with a focus in biomechanics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019. From 2016 to 2018, she was an Undergraduate Researcher with the Kamei Laboratory, where she developed novel point-of-care paper-based diagnostics. She was a recipient of the 2017 UCLA Undergraduate Research Fellowship. In 2017, she worked at Medtronic Diabetes in CGM sensor R&D. She is a member of IEEE EBMS and IEEE Women in Engineering.
