The meshed network model represents an underground cable network placed in
the collectors of an old city centre. Furthermore, there are no DERs (e.g.,
photovoltaic or wind power plants) due to the limited space and historical
concept of the network. The network consists of 1 268 nodes, 1 498 lines and
79 MV/LV distribution transformers (DT) that are placed in 55 MV/LV
underground DT stations (one or two DTs in each DT station connected to LV
network). In the LV network, there are also 55 manually controlled bus

Electromagnetic reflections can alter the RF signal strength at the receiving node. This
alteration could result in the enhancement of the received signal. The work is primarily based upon passive
reflecting walls and their effect on the received signal strength under various operating conditions. The
work could further be utilized for energy harvesting purposes for the mobile phone charging applications.
The operational frequency range in this research is from 469:5MHz to 773:5MHz. The results show

Switching vectors of an inverter with model predictive control were collected for different conditions of an induction machine. The induction machine had a rated speed of w=3000 rpm and a rated torque of T=1.20 N·m. The switching vectors were recorded as data series for the induction machine operating at different combinations of speed and torque at healthy and faulty states. Each data series consisted of 22000 switching vectors. Inter-turn short circuit fault was introduced over 2 turns (out of 104 turns) in one phase of the machine.

This study focuses on the ability of inverters to restart the grid after a blackout, known as black start. This study used two different electrical distribution systems, such as IEEE 123 and K1, to integrate Self-synchronized Universal Droop Controller (SUDC)-based inverters. A 300- and 600-node system was built based on the IEEE 123 and K1 test grid in a real-time simulator. This study included a strategy for planning high penetration of renewable energy using grid-forming inverters for a reliable and resilient supply of electricity for critical loads.
