Abstract 

The data used in the research paper for publication in IEEE Access, entitled “Smishing Strategy Dynamics and Evolving Botnet Activities in Japan.”

Instructions: 

There are seven files included in Data2.zip.
1. Excel file Data-FIg6.xlsx contains a bar chart of the number of sendSms commands in Fig. 6.
2. Text file Data-Fig7.txt contains a decoded JSON-RPC sequence in Fig. 7
3. Excel file Data-Fig9-11.xlsm contains bar graphs created from access logs of the smishing repositories in Figs. 9 to 11.
4. Excel file Data-Fig12.xlsx contains the bar graph of Tweet counts in Fig. 12.
5. Folder Data-Fig14-15 contains the results of Twitter data analysis and Python codes used to create Figs. 14-15.
6. Text file Data-Fig20.txt contains the JavaScript code in Fig. 20.
7. Excel file Data-Fig17-Table8.xlsm contains a scatter graph and VirusTotal scan results in Fig17 and Table 8.
