Abstract

This dataset contains the following simulated information of the IEEE 14 bus system: The 24-hour load profile of all the nodes of the IEE 14 bus circuit, voltages and currents measured by the PMUs placed at optimal locations which minimizes the variance on the estimated voltage states, voltages and currents measured by the PMUs placed at sub-optimal locations.

Instructions:

.mat files contain the network information:

load_prof.mat - has the load profile of all buses for the IEEE 14 bus system

voltage_true.txt  is the true voltage for buses 4,5,9,11

PMU measurements for sub optimal single channel PMU placement case

are given by:

Current: I_pmu_sub_opt  - contains  currents in "(2,3)","(3,4)","(6,12)","(7,8)","(10,11)","(13,14)",bus 1,bus 7

Voltage: V_pmu_sub_opt - contains currents in bus 1,bus 7,bus 2,bus 3,bus 6,bus 10,bus 13

PMU measurements for optimal single channel PMU placement case

are given by:

Current: I_pmu_opt  - contains  currents in "(3, 4)","(6, 5)","(8, 7)","(10, 11)","(12, 13)","(14, 9)",bus 1,bus 7
