Abstract
This dataset is used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed MS-caCOH method.
Subjects sat comfortably in an armchair and were instructed to carried out a force control task, with left arm placed along the body and right arm put on the table naturally. Prior to the experimental sessions, each subject measured the maximum voluntary contraction (MVC), and the corresponding maximum preset force was defined as 20% MVC. A single trial lasted 12 seconds, consisting of 3-second preparation stage, 6-second force control task and 3-second rest stage. For each subject, we acquired four runs of data and each run was made up of 30 trials. To mitigate muscle fatigue effects, 3~4 seconds of rest interval was provided between two consecutive trials and 3 minutes of rest was provided between runs. Throughout the experiment, subjects were instructed to focus attention on the force control task and avoid redundant movements.
1. Eleven subjects were recruited in our experiment.
2. The file folder "EEGData" includes the subfolders "EEGx_y". x denotes the Subject x, while y indicates the Run y.
3. The format of the file folder "EMGData" is similar to that of the file folder "EMGData".
