Abstract
1110612_PKGstrip_10cm_100pH_2xthru.s2p -- The S parameters of the 2x-thru standard, solved by Ansys Q2D+Designer.
1110612_PKGstrip_20cm_100pH_FDUT.s2p -- The S parameters of the fixtured DUT, solved by Q2D+Designer.
1110612_PKGstrip_10cm_DUT.s2p -- The S parameters of DUT (without fixture), solved by Q2D.
The DUT is 10cm strip line. The fixture contains a 100pH series inductor and 5cm strip line.
Fixture A and fixture B are symmetric.
Instructions:
Step 1: Analyze the 2x-thru circuit and solve the fixture S parameters.
Step 2: De-embed the fixtured-DUT using the fixture S parameters.
Step 3: Estimate the reference impedance and renormalize to 50 ohm.
Step 4: Compare your results against the reference answer (the DUT s2p).
