Abstract

The dataset contains the result of the multi-objective optimization for finding the optimal dimensions and orientation of three common types of greenhouses (Even-span, Modified arch, Quonset) for maximizing the solar radiation transmitted to the greenhouse in winter and minimizing it in summer. The even-span, modified arch, and Quonset files contain the multi-objective optimization results (Objective functions and design parameters) and the values of total solar fraction for a typical day in winter and summer for optimal greenhouses, three cultivated land areas are considered for each greenhouse. The Yearly results file contains the yearly performance of the optimal greenhouses for considered floor areas, a comparison based on the floor area size for yearly performance is also presented in this file. It should be noted that the data in each file is related to the figures in the published paper in IEEE Access Journal.

Instructions:

The dataset includes four Excel files which are the result of the multi-objective optimization for selecting the best dimension and orientation of three solar greenhouses in the northern area of Iran.

The data should be analyzed along with the published paper (provided link) because each Excel file is related to the " Result and Discussion" section of the published paper in the IEEE Access journal and each tab represents a figure in the paper.
