Abstract

This document is a supplementary file to our article entitled “Enhanced Domino Wireless Power Transfer for Transmission Line Monitoring: Overcoming External Metal Object Interference and Optimizing Coil Design” which is under review in the IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery journal. This document presents further sensitivity analysis results on the impacts of magnetic coils' geometry on the percent changes of equivalent circuit parameters of the domino resonant induction power transfer system when external metal objects are introduced. Also, this document presents the step-by-step and detailed routine to implement our proposed parameter design optimization algorithm. Also, this document presents the result dataset regarding the optimizations performed to determine optimum parameters for (embedded) domino resonant inductive power transfer systems under several case studies. Those parameters include the geometry of magnetic coils and the value of compensating capacitors.

Instructions:

This supplementary file is prepared for the readers of the article entitled " Enhanced Domino Wireless Power Transfer for Transmission Line Monitoring: Overcoming External Metal Object Interference and Optimizing Coil Design " which is under review for possible publication in IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery Journal. In several parts of the article, we have referred the readers to this dataset.
