Abstract

Data processing procedure. Pictures from (a) to (d) are corresponding to the four data processing steps respectively. The units of vertical axis are arbitrary and the number is not equal to the actual received power. The measurement range of 400 m corresponds to the beam angle of about 46°

Instructions:

The GPS coordinates of the drone location are stored in the drone controller at a rate of once per second with time-stamps. The received signals are measured by the correlator of the telescope. The time interval for saving the GPS data is set to be the same as the integration time of the receiver. Because of the finite dynamic range of the dish receiver, the beam was measured many times with different attenuators.
