Abstract
The data and codes show 3D reconstruction of a checkerboard with pseudo-colored errors, using different calibration and reconstruction methods. (1) with general stereo calibration and linear reconstruction, (2) with general stereo calibration and approximately undistorted reconstruction, (3) with stereo calibration and undistorted reconstruction using nonlinear epipolar constraints, and (4) with the residual distortion-calibrated reconstruction.
The data also includes the original fringe images captured in the stereo calibration experiment, for the situation if you want to compare your calibration and reconstruction accuracy with the reported methods.

Simply unzip "Data_and_code_to_run.zip" at any location of a computer. Change the working dictionary to the unzipped folder in MATLAB (2016 or after) and run the Demo.m file to get the four reported reults.
**IMPORTANT
- Please DO NOT download the 128MB "Original_images_for_calibration.zip" if you do not want to compare your results with the reported results.
- This large folder includes 450 fringe images captured from a checkerboard calibration process with 25 random poses. For each pose, 9 3-step-phase-shift 3-frequency (1, 8 and 64) horzontal fringe images and 9 3-step-phase-shift 3-frequency (1,7 and 49) vertical fringe images were projected and captured.
- Other information:
- Camera resolution: 1024x1280;
- Projector resolution: 1140x912;
- MATLAB Parallel Computing Toolbox is required for accellerated computation;
- The code has been tested with MATLAB 2016, under a Windows OS.
