Abstract

This dataset complies 172 chipless RFID measurements that have been reported in the literature from 2005-2022. The dataset contain the year, reading distance, frequency range, tag type, reader setup, and reference for each entry.

Instructions:

Each row of the dataset represents one entry. The columns are designated as follows:

Column A: Year of publication

Column B: Reading distance in cm. This is the highest "successful" reading distance reported by the authors of the work.

Column C and D: Lower and Upper frequencies of the range that the tag was measured at.

Column E: Indicates whether the tag is co-polar or cross-polar. Tx/Rx tags are considered to be cross-polar and dual-polarized tags are considered to be co-polar.

Column F: Indicates whether the tag was measured with a bistatic (B) or monostatic (M) reader antnenna setup.

Column G: Indicates whether a time-domain reader (T) or a frequency-domain reader (F) was used to make the measurements.

Column H: Indicates whether (Y) or not (N) a VNA was used to make the measurement

Column I: Contains the full reference for the entry.
