Abstract
The IEEE Brain Initiative intends to continue to present Neurotech innovation/education opportunities around the world after sponsoring several challenges and competitions in 2017 in St. Petersburg, Russia; Glasgow, Scotland; co-located with SPCN and Sensors Conference, respectively; and Boston, USA. These competitions have generated out-of-the-ordinary results from young researchers globally. We are planning to host another competition, this time at Xi'an, China, on 7-8 July, co-located with the 9th International Conference on Brain Inspired Cognitive Systems.
The aim of this challenging competition is to bring together a diverse group of individuals of varying backgrounds and experience to analyze, visualize, and evaluate complex datasets. Registered teams should consist of no more than 5 members per team. Competitors will start with access to the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF), NeruoRacer brain signal dataset. You must request access below.
Supplementary datasets involving other physiological signals beyond EEG can be correlated with the NeuroRacer dataset for the BDB Competition. All datasets must be anonymized for privacy protection.
Results will be evaluated on analytic approach, visualization, and final presentation and interpretation.
Please download and begin exploring this dataset.
