Abstract

The paper substantiates the method of orthogonalization of linearly independent functions based on the calculation of the orthogonality weight. The form of orthogonal functions does not differ from the form of the original functions. Synthesis of optimal receivers is carried out based on the criterion of minimum noise variance at the receiver output for a fixed reference value of the useful signal. In the case of non-white noise, op-timal receivers have a finite gain in the entire operating frequency band. To combat intersymbol interference and interchannel interference when minimizing the interference variance, the orthogonality conditions with the weight of channel symbols of the main and adjacent channels adjacent to the received channel symbol are taken into account. A correlator with a discrete reference signal is used as a nonlinear optimal receiver. The criterion of optimality of a nonlinear receiver is also the criterion of minimum interference variance at the receiver output for a fixed reference value of the useful signal.
