Abstract

The dataset was generated through the execution of a Python script designed to collect a comprehensive set of data samples from six different sensors for each specific gesture. Upon launching the script, users are prompted to initiate gesture 0, Once ready, users can commence recording, with the program automatically capturing 1000 samples for that particular gesture. Subsequently, the program prompts users to perform gesture 1, and this process repeats until data for all gestures is collected. At the conclusion of the program, a CSV file is generated, containing 10,000 rows and 36 columns, along with an additional target column that designates the corresponding gesture for each row of data. This method ensures a systematic and standardized approach to collecting data, allowing for a comprehensive dataset that encompasses a wide range of gestures and sensor measurements. The resulting CSV file serves as a reliable and valuable resource for further analysis and research in the field.
