Abstract

The following database contains over 25,000 records collected using the author's data glove while researching 16 static letters of the Polish Sign Language alphabet.

Data are readings from 10 piezoresistive sensors placed over the fingers of the hand expressed in ADC values.

Data are from 15 test subjects, each of whom performed each letter ten times

Instructions:

The data is a 25490x11 matrix. The column names describe which sensor the data in the column comes from.

The data in the file is not post-processed in any way.

The sensors are numbered according to the following convention:

P - Number1_Number2

Where Number1 is the finger number of the left hand counting the thumb as finger number 1

Number2 is the row number of the sensor placement: 1 - row over interphalangeal joints 2 - row over metacarpophalangeal joints

In the first column there is a character describing the letter that was made during the measurement collection.

For reference, the resting state of the hand described as 'rest' is measured once for each subject
