Abstract

Achieving digital intraoral impressions is a key step in orthodontic, implant, and repair. Compared with the complex and time-consuming traditional plaster impression method, the intraoral 3D scanner can obtain digital impressions in real time. However, because of the saliva, enamel, metallic denture, etc., the quality of the captured 2D image, which is used for feature measurement and 3D reconstruction, is usually degraded. Moreover, because of the limited field of view of intraoral scanners, bundles of individual point clouds need to be matched to obtain the full arch point cloud. This database was used to validte the fringe projection pattern based reconstruction algorithm for intraoral.

Instructions:

1) This database include three image sequences, which are used to reconstruct upper full arch, lower full arch, and full arch with goldren tooth.

2) Each sequence includes 4000-6000 images;

3) Every 7 images are used to reconstructed a point cloud of single scene.

Comments

This is the first database for introral 3D measurement.
