Abstract

The "Analyzed Open-Source Projects Dataset" is a collection of project names and associated metadata from a diverse range of open-source software projects. This dataset aims to facilitate research and analysis in the domain of software engineering, particularly in the context of project management, library dependencies, and software composition. The dataset includes project names, package manager details and repository URLs. The projects from this dataset were used in our approach for assessing the real impact of open-source components in software systems. Researchers and practitioners can use this dataset to explore dependency relationships. This abstract provides an overview of the dataset's scope, content, and potential applications, encouraging its utilization for advancing the understanding and improvement of software projects worldwide.
