5G mmWave Dataset with Beamforming in a Realistic Industrial Scenario

Abstract 

This dataset has been measured from the User Equipment (UE) using an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV). The collected metrics include the radio information measured by the modem, and the localization information obtained from the AGV's navigation system based on LiDAR technology.

The AGV is configured to follow a loop movement from the south to the north of the laboratory at 1 m/s speed. The BTS is a commercial cell publicly available on mmWave, but no external users were connected to mmWave during the experiments.

The scenario corresponds to the AAU Smart Production Laboratory (https://www.5gsmartproduction.aau.dk), sited in Aalborg, Denmark.

The data labels in used are easily guessable in the scope of 5G cellular networks. However, further information will be available soon in this section, providing a link to the work where all the details are described.

There are 2 files: One contains full information about radio, positioning and throughput; the second contains a clearer beam switching log for a better understanding.
