Abstract 

This dataset includes ALVR statistics (.json) and Wireshark packet traces (.csv) for a wide range of single-user and multi-user PCVR configurations. Our configurations are based on ALVR and SteamVR. For each user, we stream a video game from a wired server (desktop or laptop) to a wireless head-mounted display (Meta Quest 2 or 3) over Wi-Fi. In each case, the data was captured on the server.

Instructions: 

For a detailed description of the dataset please refer to theĀ README.md. For plotting instructions please refer to theĀ demo.py. There is one function for plotting ALVR statistics (.json) and another one for plotting Wireshark packet traces (.csv).

Comments

Fantastic dataset for analyzing performance and network behavior in wireless VR environments. The inclusion of both ALVR stats and Wireshark traces offers a comprehensive view of end-to-end streaming performance. This is especially valuable for research on optimizing multi-user VR over Wi-Fi. Looking forward to applying this in my capstone project on network performance prediction in immersive gaming setups. Great work by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra team
