Abstract 

Adavus are the basis of the Indian Dance form bharatnatyam. adavus cover all that is there in any bharatnatyam dance - hand - hastbheda, leg - padabheda, face - shirobheda, eyes- drishtibheda, neck - greeva bheda. The dataset gives a glimse into human posture, movement and action - vertical and horizontal, thus giving the path forward to understanding any human movement

Instructions: 

the folder videos contains the videos of the varios adavus and adavus_mapping gives a mapping file for the classification of adavus. 

Adavus are classified based on 

- Hand Gestures

- Feed posture

- Movement

- complexity

Further they serve a purpose that further is used for advanced levels of dancing
