Scheduling optimization plays a pivotal role for byproduct gas system in steel industry, for which is directly related to the smooth production and economic interest raising for the enterprise. While owing to the dynamic characteristics of the related equipment as well as the complexity of the network, the adjustable amount considering operational security of the byproduct system may commonly change during daily production. In order to solve this problem, a fast security region assessment and scheduling optimization method is proposed in this study.
