This dataset comprises two main components: student performance records and competition participation details, designed to support the research outlined in the manuscript titled "The Integration of Technology and Education: An Innovative Research on the Evaluation System of College Students’ Programming Ability." The dataset includes detailed information on academic performance and competition outcomes for 307 college students. The data.xlsx file contains multiple sheets, with Sheet1 providing comprehensive academic records for each student.

The dataset originates from the 2020 graduates of the Computer Science and Technology program at Hebei Agricultural University, China. To develop a comprehensive assessment model for evaluating the extent to which graduates meet the graduation requirements, this study employs an AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process)-TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) model. The model encompasses three primary indicators: professional knowledge and skills, professional accomplishment and development, personal quality and moral character, along with eight secondary indicators.
