Email messaging is an important part of personal and institutional communication between two parties. In this article, we propose an identity based email messaging system for ICN that provides the same functionalities as the email system of traditional internet, while leveraging the benefits of ICN. The proposed scheme reduces spam emails and restricts emailing unknown users. The Random Oracle analysis,AVISPA simulation and informal security analysis prove that the proposed scheme is robust and resilient to common attacks in ICN.
