Submit a Dataset

IEEE DataPort offers three options for uploading your dataset.

All options support up to 2 TB of data and related files as well as meta data, cloud storage integration, an automatically generated DOI, analysis submissions, and comments. Please choose the option below that best fits your needs.

 Standard Dataset
Open Access Dataset
Data Competition
DescriptionSubmit your dataset and related files at no cost to you and make your dataset accessible.  Standard datasets on IEEE DataPort will be stored in reliable Amazon S3 file storage and may be downloaded or accessed "in the cloud" by any IEEE DataPort Paid Subscriber.  Your dataset will be assigned a persistent DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and citation details will be provided so your dataset can be cited accurately.

Submit a Standard Dataset
Make your datasets freely available to the public! This option is designed for those involved in government-funded research and others who need to meet Open Access requirements.  When you load an Open Access dataset, your dataset will be assigned a persistent DOI and will be accessible to ALL logged in users of IEEE DataPort.

Submit an Open Access Dataset
Initiate and host a Data Competition on IEEE DataPort by uploading a dataset and your competition instructions.  When you initiate a Data Competition you are enabled to establish the competition duration, manage participation, implement submission deadlines, directly receive competition entries on IEEE DataPort, and update the competition as needed.
